Killer Cams

My experience with this company was the worst experience I have ever had with any one single company in my entire life. I feel like I was ripped off and I'm positive I was. Here it is, the best I can summarize from start to finish. 1. Mark was very nice until my check cleared. 2. Waited two weeks after the projected date of installation (which was due before July 4th.) 3. Orifginal Pool ladder was supposed to be changed out to a step system to hold up more weight. A 150.00 charge was added onto the original price for this convenience. 4. The pool ladder was left by them in pieces for me to put together and install myself. (I quote "You look like a smart guy, you can tackle this alone, right?") 5. No liner protection was left for the step system (it is supposed to come with suction cups on the feet for inside the pool to protect vinyl liners). 6. Screws were missing and ladder system was dirty possibly indicating it was used. 7. No bag of sand was left to weigh the system down. 8. Finally someone arrived with the bag of sand (which was ripped and basically useless) and a cheap mat that kept floating up to the top of the water. 9. Three weeks in, I had a leak at the return which was an after market light that they had installed. 10. A week later someone came out to fix the light. - Probably the only actual solved problem with this company. 11. Argued about the step system and even confirmed with the manufacturer that it was the older model that they do not make anymore and does not meet the weight requirements we had discussed prior to me paying. 12. Asked that I get the filter system hard plumbed in place of the bad ladder system 75.00 value. After days of arguing, Mark had agreed on this but the plumbing was just GOD aweful as no shut valves were installed and the only way to change any parts would be to cut and replumb. So I now have hard permanent plumbing connected and adhered right to my filter and pump. RUINED and no way to detach. 13. Had a break in the liner after about 2 months, well within the one year warranty period and was told I would still have to pay to have the liner repaired by them. 14. During installation a pipe for my sprinkler system was punctured and simply capped off, later causing an issue with it leaking and of course me having to pay someone else to repair it yet again. 15. Above all the pool looks very UNPROFFESSIONAL, sitting a whopping 3.5" off level. Very visible to the naked eye and very unsettling. All of the pillars surrounding the outter wall are popping screws now (nearly a year later) and it just looks very bad! The pillars are all crooked as well which really makes the poor workmanship stand out the most. I have pics and emails proving all of this, so if Mark decides to reply to this, which I am almost positive he will, I can show you literature and pictures to prove it all. In conclusion, this was the worst feeling after purchase I have ever experienced and since I was treated so poorly, I have made this a little side project of mine to warn everyone of this company. Now that my 1 year warranty is approaching completion (not that he honors it anyway) I have already posted negative feedback on Consumer affairs, Better Business Bureau (BBB), Service Magic, Angies list and the list goes on! I will be showing an actual video on Youtube as well with footage of them doing the work and footage of what the pool looks like after a year.
