Classic Homes

The owner of this company and his staff are liars. I stopped by their office while looking for property one day to see about maybe them building a house on a property I found. He immediately said oh that lot is no good its got all these problems. Long story short he got me out of buying that land which the reasons he gave come to find out were a lie. He then says he's got upcoming land but we have to wait for paperwork to be completed before we can sell it. Said it would be done in a about a month. After a year hunting for land we finally found land that we liked that he was offering. So we stopped looking for land and began to fall in love with this land. So the waiting began for six months with excuses. No problem im just happy Im getting the land and no rush to sell mine. Than I call and the sales guy so oh its ready. I'm like cool when can we set up a meeting. They transfer me and the lady says oh he's not selling the land to you anymore but I dont have any details and call the owner. I call the owner and no call back, nothing explaining himself. I then think Im glad this builder didnt work out because my warranty would probably not be any good. Come to find out a few people that I know that live in his homes complain that things never get fixed. The reason this upsets me, because I am a contractor and I would never give false hope to a customer. Hopefully he will understand that he upset someones kids also. They fell in love with it. Good thing we found a property we love and have signed a contract and found a great builder that has been more than helpful.
