Dr. Earthman from my experience is a better than the average psychiatrist. He's very analytical and knows how to read someone's conditions quite well. The biggest benefit is that he's open to all sources of treatment, and is very knowledgeable in most of them. Giving him the ability to direct you to the right meds, counseling, and/or other treatments. I have Bi-Polar2 and ADHD, both have been very taxing on my life. I've been to over 10+ psychiatrists, and found Dr. Earthman to be the most sensible, knowledgeable and productive on choosing the right meds.
My 4 stars would be 5 stars, but I've had issue's with his office manager, and his week long vacations. My meds ran out, and I know I'm partial to blame, but there was no backup to refilling my meds that keep me sane. Dr. Earthman was out on vacation, and had no backup plan what so ever. No other doctor, no forwarding voicemails, no office manager calling back, no vacation refills and my biggest annoyance was no notifications via email, text, or voicemail to inform all of his patients ahead of time that he was going to be out. Plus, his voicemail recording for the first 3 days was just that they weren't by the phones and would call back later. This to me is very unprofessional and not right. Now, I'm hoping they'll rework his practice by him getting a new office manager, notifying patients of when he'll be out, and implementing a better backup plan.
