Dr Lisa King

I originally was seeing the nurse practitioner Cathy and never had any issues at this place. But the other day, I finally had to see Dr. King because she no longer has a nurse practioner. The front desk staff have always been ok to me. They have had some issues with trying to get prescriptions filled. That takes a few phone calls. However, Dr. King does not have a very good bed side manner. I was left sitting in a room for 20ish mins as I listened to her openly chastise a young lady in the next room over her pregnancy. She was not quiet about it. Then comes into my room and we get past the introductions. She then says I'm gonna beat you with my laptop. Now I'm a sarcastic person. I can joke with the best. But instead of us having an open discussion with whatever was bothering her about me. I was lectured and harassed for over 30mins about an issue that was overly obvious. I was only in for a evaluation that takes 15-20mins tops. I was in there for over an hour. I had even mentioned several times to staff and Dr. King. I'm tired, I been on my feet all day due to the multiple jobs I work. I want to get this over with and go home. But no, I was lectured and harassed over an issue I was very well aware of. No need to consistently beat me in the head with what your opinion is. 5mins would of been fine. 30mins. Not so much. Unless I specifically ask for more information about something. I do not want to be harassed about it. If Dr. King is gonna be the only person in that office. I will most likely look for another doctor.
