Dr. Kyser and his Nurse Practitioner are the most unprofessional inept practitioners I habe ever encountered. First, I went in for back pain and the nurse practitioner just stood there acting like she couldn't care less. She looked and acted like she had no idea what to do. When the first medicine didn't work she prescribed me another medication that had increased risk of heart attack and stroke as the first side affect. I had told them I had had a stroke previously. She did an xray that showed two degenerated disks and so she decided physical therapy would be good. Nothing to alleviate the pain , just go to physical therapy until it works. She did not refer me out to any doctor . She did not even suggest I see the doctor over her. That was it. I called to see what we could do about the pain and her nurse said, "Its just a degenerated disk", then when I said I knew that and that it still hurt and physical therapy was a week away starting... She said , "well, do you want an MRI?"... ummmm.... yeah.... That isn't going to relieve anything . I called and made an appointment with her supervising physician who had the office call back and tell me that he backed her up . Fast forward... I went to an amazing doctor at azalea orthopedics who found inflamed bone marrow. Not only that, but she treated me with respect. I found another doctor with ETMC who seems to be interested in finding out WHY the pain is there and whose nurses don't dismiss patients. I would not recommend kyser or brandi pate to anyone .
