Outpost Burger Co.

I want this restaurant to do well and stick around. It is a very clean and beautiful place and they do some things very well. We've eaten there many times because my husband really likes one of their sodas (some oddball, cool flavor I can't remember at the moment), their brioche-style hamburger buns and their hand-cut potato chips. A couple things happened which dampened my opinion of this pretty restaurant: 1. I ordered take-out salads (with chicken) on three occasions and on the second and third of those, I was given wilted, turning brown and slimy at edges lettuce (Spring-mix variety). The chicken in these salads seems of the frozen chicken breast variety, dry, bland, and salty. If fresh ingredients for the salad aren't available, I'd prefer they just say so and NOT sell it to me. 2. I popped in with my daughter and we ordered: one salad, one order potato chips, one order french fries, one cheeseburger, two sodas. The total was $27 and change. I said, "Are you sure that's correct?" It was. Prior to this, my husband always paid and I guess I didn't pay any attention to the cost or prices. $27 for two women to eat a quick, burger lunch is just too much. I hope they tighten things up and improve a bit because I'd like to see this place stick around and thrive.
