Let me tell a little story. We live over a hundred miles from Irving, but we were traveling in a pickup with a dog in a crate in back on a hot July day. We had spent a night in an Irving hotel, and in the morning the truck wouldn't start. We were towed to this place (Rick's) we knew nothing about. Turns out the starter was shot. We were allowed to bring our dog into the waiting room and sat there, waiting for the starter to be replaced.
Knowing that we were on the road, traveling with a dog in the heat of summer, the folks at Rick's gave our case priority, in front of several other customers. (Note that they could have little expectation of our ever being repeat customers.) We were very thankful and impressed that they were so considerate of our plight. Those of you who are fortunate enough to live near Rick's are the lucky ones. Will we travel a hundred miles each way to give Rick's our business -- no. But is this place worthy of your business -- yes.
